Job Requirements:

Gencor is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and support a team of approximately six technicians. This role involves assigning daily tasks, overseeing work progress, and ensuring high-quality installation and wiring of components, modules, and assemblies for new equipment manufacturing.

This is a hands-on position requiring active participation in electrical work. This role is not related to facility maintenance or service work.

Location Requirement:
Only local candidates will be considered. Applicants must reside in the Orlando area. No relocation assistance is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment to ensure timely installation according to the manufacturing schedule
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents
• Plan and layout work required for equipment installation, panel wiring, and control box assembly
• Perform and oversee installations involving complex systems, including interlocks, breakers, switches, warning devices, indicators, conduits, and relays
• Supervise and support a team to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience supervising an electrical crew
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • PLC wiring and control processes
  • Motor controls
  • Three-phase motors
  • Electrical schematics, wireways, and conduit systems
  • Wire sizing and termination techniques

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift objects weighing 25–50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Capable of climbing ladders and stairs, and maintaining balance on uneven or slippery surfaces
• Requires manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment, use computers, and handle documentation
• Frequently exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and potentially noisy or hazardous environments, including chemicals and moving machinery
